DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT 1. A provisional booking will be accepted by Happy Holidays Caravan, subject to a £50 deposit being received. The deposit must be paid by bank transfer to the bank account details on the booking form. To ensure your payment can easily be located please use the reference D (your surname). Upon receiving the deposit you will receive confirmation of the dates that you have now booked. Please note that ALL bookings are provisional until the deposit is received. 2. If the deposit is not received it is assumed that the provisional booking is no longer required. 3. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation. 4. The balance of the holiday is required to be paid no less than 6 weeks prior to your holiday start date. If the balance is not received in this time frame, then we reserve the right to hire the caravan out to someone else. Bookings that are made in less than 6 weeks before your arrival require to be paid in full. To ensure balance payments can easily be identified please use the reference B (your surname). 5. A damages deposit of £50 is also required to be paid either with the deposit payment or with the final balance payment. This is fully refundable within 5 working days of your departure if no damages are found upon inspection. We reserve the right to withhold some or all of the deposit and/or bill the hirer for the additional cost of a) replacing and/or repairing all damage b) all breakages c) charge for additional cleaning, removing stains or replacing as new. All breakages, damage and stains within the caravan must be paid for. 6. The hirer must inform Happy Holidays within 12 hours of arrival of all defects, inventory shortages and/or breakages. Failure to do so may result in you, the hirer being responsible. CANCELLATIONS 7. In the event of cancellation, the hirer must confirm this in writing – deposits are not refundable in the event of cancellation. 8. No refund will be made to the hirer who decides to vacate the caravan for any reason including an emergency at home. 9. Once the balance has been paid, refunds will only be considered in extreme circumstances at our discretion and subject to the time remaining until the holiday and a replacement booking being obtained. GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS 10. Bookings will only be taken where the main guest is 21 years and over. No same sex groups (couples and families only). 11. Only the persons on the booking form may stay at the caravan. Over occupancy will noy be tolerated. 12. Any changes to a booking are allowed by prior agreement with us and must be received in writing. 13. The main guest is responsible for the conduct of all persons listed on the booking form. 14. The main guest agrees that all persons named on the booking form shall be with you during your holiday period. The holiday park owner and/or staff will have a copy of your booking form. The booking form is important because it is for you and your parties safety and for security purposes only. 15. We reserve the right to refuse any booking without any obligation and to reserve the right to terminate any booking for whatever reason at their absolute discretion. UPON COMMENCEMENT OF HIRE 16. You may enter the caravan from 3pm onwards on the first day of the holiday. 17. In the case of a maintenance issue, you must contact us. DIY repairs must not be attempted. If the hirer does any DIY repairs, then rule 5 will apply. 18. No pets are allowed. 19. Smoking is not permitted in the caravan however you are welcome to smoke outside of the caravan as long as cigarette butts are not left lying around. 20. The caravan is to be left in a clean and tidy condition ready for the next tenants. The caravan will be inspected and if not then rule 5 will apply. 21. Us, the caravan owners and the holiday park owners and their staff do not accept any liability for any loss or damage to the hirer’s property and/or accidents, injuries, illness, diseases arising from the hire of the caravan or use of the holiday park including extreme weather conditions. 22. The caravan must be vacated by 10am on the last day of the holiday ready for us to inspect and clean the property ready for the next guests. 23. No prams, buggies to be left open and used in the caravans as this has previously caused damage to doors and fittings. 24. If you are asked to vacate the caravan/holiday park by the holiday park staff for any reason whatsoever, we will not refund any money paid. 25. An early check in or late departure may be possible for an extra fee – if this is required, please contact us to discuss further. PLEASE NOTE 26. Once we have received your £50 deposit you have agreed to the full terms and conditions, as above, as applicable at the time of your booking and holiday.
