My husband and I collected the Motorhome at night as arranged and noticed that a rear light and the running lights were not working. Although Suzanne’s husband, Kevin, said that it didn’t matter, we chose to leave without the motor home and collected it the following day after he assured us that he had fixed the issue. We made it perfectly clear to them that we had never been in a motor home before but we were not given any instructions on how to use it. We had a folder with some instructions in and were told to FaceTime Kevin if we needed help with anything. We arrived at our first site, filled up with water only to see water gushing out of the motor home! We called Kevin and found that the valve had been left open. We told him that there was an error with the boiler and we were told to reset the system. We followed his instructions, but we couldn’t get the fridge or the heating system to work. We went out to dinner, froze all night long and tried calling Kevin the next morning. We couldn’t get an answer so we drove on to our next site as our ten day trip for our anniversary was booked in advance. When we arrived, we sought help from several experienced campers but they couldn’t resolve the problems. By now we were unable to empty the grey matter as the lever was stuck, the blinds were broken, the sinks were blocked, the toilet stunk so we didn’t open the door to the toilet. When we emptied the toilet cassette it was full and had not been emptied before we hired it. One ring on the hob didn’t work, the fuel gauge was not accurate and kept changing and the dashboard indicated that an oil change was required. After two days, we still couldn’t get an answer from Kevin so we were forced to give up our trip and returned home. We called all of the sites to cancel and were told that we couldn’t get a refund. We cancelled our anniversary spa day and were told that it was too late to get a refund. We cancelled our doggy day care and all of our restaurant bookings. We then cleaned out the motor home, threw our food away and took the motor home back. Kevin said that he would look into the problems and get back to us. We had a text from Suzanne to say that there was nothing wrong with the heating and he was going to address the other issues soon. She said that she wasn’t going to give us our money back but retracted later asking us how much we were expecting back. We decided that it would be fair to ask for a refund for the amount we paid them except for the two days that we used it and didn’t even ask for any compensation for all of the other things including the petrol going back and forth to collect it. However, it is now two weeks since we returned and we still haven’t received any of our money back!
These people didn’t listen at all to handover, had no understanding or patience as to what was required and how everything worked! They asked for a full refund! We are not going to lose booking money because someone isn’t very bright, that’s not our fault! All the five star reviews confirm it’s not us!!! They messaged us at 5.00 in the morning because they couldn’t figure out the heating and strangely enough we didn’t answer! At 8.30 in the morning they came home again! My daughter was there for handover with Kevin and she said he went through everything. She told him how the touch lights worked and this didn’t go in because he said they didn’t want work! They came home once because Tony forgot his glasses, when he hadn’t! This is the sort of people we were dealing with and the sort of bookings we didn’t dont want! Everything worked in that van and none of this was our fault! Nightmare customers!!!
Iain was amazing in communication from start to finish. The camper was fantastic and made our trip all the more enjoyable by the great service provided by Iain. This was our first time renting a Campervan, Iain gave us all the information we needed with a thorough & detailed handover making sure we were comfortable as it was our first time and was on hand if needed. A 10/10 service and would happily rent again through Iain. We have also sent this link to family, friends and people we met along the way of our NC500 journey as Iain exceeded all of our expectations and our dog absolutely loved the Campervan life! If you are renting a motorhome for your vacation don't think about anything else just get a quote online from Antonio or Vikki, we did a week round trip around Scotland in their motor home, it is a very neat, excellent condition motor. You will get all the necessary utensils in it, they are very nice people to deal with. Also we got the cab on a very affordable price, so we highly recommend this team Thank you so much looking forward to go on another vacation with the same team
Suzanne and she made the handover very easy, and even on our return we were met by Suzanne partner James he too was customer orientated and their attitude towards people was excellent and we would highly recommend this company for the hire of motorhomes in the York district. 100* Rating thank you.
Great collection and handover, great caravan despite missing a cuboard handle, great people who lent me extending mirrors. So great holiday in Cromer missing all the bad weather. Hand back was delayed by 1hr20 as no one there which was frustrating as we had a 7 hour drive back to Devon. They need a drop off facility to make work properly.
Arthur requested a later drop off time than our usual time but I accommodated this to be helpful. We arranged for someone else to accept the hire return as we had other commitments at the agreed time. Arthur then turned up an hour and 20 minutes early and gave the person who kindly agreed to meet him at 12 (which was the agreed time) a mouthful of abuse. Unacceptable behaviour and will not be tolerated again!

We had a wonderful time in the motor home plenty of room for my family of four Great service from jacqui We went to Leicester Peak District lake Windermere all over the Lake District up to Scotland and back down the west coast of the country and the van never missed a beat great on fuel as well We will definitely be using the service again

Natalie was really lovely host. Pick up very easy. We booked the awning but told a couple of days before that it was broken which was disappointing. Natalie did offer us a tent instead but we declined. Van was very clean. We found that the leisure battery didn’t hold its charge so probably needs replacing as it meant that the fridge didn’t work with the solar alone. Also we weren’t sure how the water connected so didn’t use this either. We did however enjoy our trip very much. Thanks Natalie.

We booked the Motorhome at the start of the year (4 lads) to be used for a weekend running event in Loch Ness in August. As it was our first time using a camper we had loads of questions, communication was excellent, either Andy or Debbie getting back to us whenever we had a question. Pick up was stress free with Debbie showing us how to use the motorhome while Andy was kind enough to make us breakfast rolls and a hot drink to set us up for the journey ahead. Would highly recommend Andy and Debbie and look forward to hiring motorhome in the future.
Stuart was the ultimate host from hand over of the motorhome to providing everything you need for your trip.the motorhome was clean and tidy great to drive and good on fuel can’t fault anything .would highly recommend hiring from Stuart as I will be in the future. Thanks again Stuart 🙏🏻

Great van, just what we needed and very last minute due to our campervan not being fixed in time and still in the garage. Lots of storage, brand new fridge, double hob, heating, massive bed and great space. Totally off grid and no 240v but we had our own hook up cable with 3 pin sockets attached so wasn’t an issue. So easy to rent with no worries about cleaning etc, and really friendly. spot on for our 4 day festival and will definitely use again if we need to.

We were so surprised when we saw the van. It was like brand new. Spotless in and out. A very clear handover and demo of the functions and we had no problems using them once we arrived at our destinations. Loads of added extras that we didn't expect e.g. tea, coffee and cleaning wipes. On return there was a great welcome and after a quick check of the van, our deposit was sent back immediately. 100% recommended.
This is a great van for us first timers. Simon was very patient in answering all our queries before and during our holiday. Set up for "off grid". It was unfortunate the gas cannister ran out, but this was only a day before we were due to come home so we managed. Van is very impressive, well equipped, even a TV with excellent signal Would hire again
Debi has a comfortable caravan with everything that you need for your stay. nice area and quiet. and easy situated to other areas also. great shower and very imformative about contact if we needed. we enjoyed out stay very much.
