Description
Blu is our fantastic, converted VW T5.1 Highline 140 with 6 speed (2l) . He has a huge specification including air con, thermostat controlled heating, alarm and immobiliser, cruise control, 240V campsite hook-up (lead supplied) , dimmer controlled LD lighting , tow-bar and sleeps 4 people. It has a SMEV hob and sink, a Waeco fridge/ freezer, Planar Diesel night heater. Gas safe and habitation certificate (May 2020). The thermostat controlled heating has a phone controlled modem to enable you to heat the van up should weather turn and you want to warm up with a nice cup of hot chocolate after a long walk.He is fitted with the amazing Westdubs panoramic pop-top roof which provides more space, and the option to fold away the canvas to create an open top bus! He has a very comfortable, memory foam , MOT tested rock and roll bed by Dubhut.

Extras can be added:
-New Galli 3 air beam drive away awning with additional bedroom ideal for the long holiday away £50 per booking not available October-Mid March due to weather conditions and mud
-Also a New Vango Magra air beam awning which is fantastic use of space if you do not want the bigger Galli 3 £40 per booking
-4 bike carrier (Atare Strada) enabling you to open and access rear doors.(£30 per booking )
-Inflatable paddle board x 3 £25 each per booking (great fun saves hiring them at £20 per hour )
-Brand new 3 man kayak £30 per hire .
- Foldable hammock, £10 per booking
-picnic table and chairs.£10 per booking
-Small 4 man tent ideal for storage when day tripping. £20
-Driving in Europe £10 per day insurance charge .
You must purchase a VOH (vehicle on hire) certificate for travelling outside the UK, these cost £8 and can be ordered from the RAC.
-Additional driver £10 per day .
-Additional gas bottle £40
-All above Cash on collection .
-Cadac BBQ £15 per hire or £20 inc gas bottle ( best out door cooker ever ! )
Pick up times are 5.30 pm
dropoff times 6pm
There will be a charge of £40 if the van is not handed back clean
We provide free parking on site for your car (we cannot accept responsibility whilst your car is with us), we also are happy to store suitcases etc. if you do not have a car.
We also have an other campervan, two motorhomes and a luxury motorhome and group bookings are welcome.
Hiring rules
Age limit over 25 only
Strictly no smoking in the camper.
We are happy for you to bring your furry friends with you free of charge but the camper must be returned free of dog hair.
Please report any damages/ incidence that may occur during your rental immediately.
Late return fee may be applied. Please contact us if you are running late with returning the camper, as it could affect the next rental.
If are traveling aboard You must purchase a VOH (vehicle on hire) certificate for travelling outside the UK, these cost £8 and can be ordered from the RAC.***PLEASE INFORM US AND WE WILL SUPPLY THE PAPERWORK YOU NEED*** .
Please note that for insurance purposes we require the following documents before or on collection:
1. Front and back copies of driving licence
2. Passport copy/work ID
3. TWO proofs of address dated within the last 60 days from the list below. These can be downloads from the internet as most households are now paperless. As per insurance requirements the address must match the address on the driving licence and only the listed documents below are acceptable:
- Bank statement
- Credit card statement
- Utility bill (water, gas, electricity or Council Tax bill dated within the last 2 months)
Unfortunately insurance do not consider any letters, invoices or marketing material that contain the address.
4. a DVLA check code or licence summary (UK licence holders)
FUEL: The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as received.
